Microneedling & Microchanneling
Advanced skin rejuvenation for smoother, firmer, more radiant skin.
Microneedling (Collagen Induction Therapy)
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a minimally invasive procedure that uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate your body’s natural healing process, boosting the production of new collagen and elastin to visibly improve texture and tone.
At Skin Studio in Boston, Massachusetts, we use advanced automated pen devices with disposable needle cartridges and a unique bio-lock safety system designed to protect the skin throughout the procedure.
To ensure comfort, a topical anesthetic can be applied before your session. Since microneedling does not use heat, downtime is minimal, and most clients resume daily activities shortly after treatment. Check out Microneedling in action here!
How Many Sessions Do I Need?
Most clients begin to see noticeable improvements after 3–5 monthly sessions.

What Is Microchanneling?
Microchanneling is a non-invasive treatment that creates tiny microchannels on the skin’s surface to stimulate collagen and elastin production.
At Skin Studio, we use the Glowpin™ syringe top, which features 19 evenly spaced needles designed to infuse targeted serums directly into the skin. This allows for up to 30× better absorption compared to applying serums topically.
What Is PDO AfterGlo™?
PDO AfterGlo™ is a hydrating skin booster made from PDO (in powder form) combined with Hyaluronic Acid (HA). It smooths rough texture and helps the skin retain moisture, giving it a plumper and more radiant appearance.
Ideal For Improving:
Fine lines (including crow’s feet)
Moderate wrinkles (nasolabial folds, facial contour lines)
Uneven texture
